The Christmas Parade in Brisbane feels more like the national day in Norway than Christmas. When the drummers are coming it is like being in Bergen on the 17. of May. The groups in the parade are from the ballet 'The Nutcracker'. With music, song and dance they make a good mood in the city.
Kameler lukter foresten ganske stramt.
Josef and Mary are also taking part in the parade and Mary sits on a real donkey. Behind them come the Three Kings on real camels. Camels don't smell good :-(
After the parade a pantomime is performed on the city square, mostly for children. The evening concludes with a light show on the wall of the City Hall. Parts from The Nutcracker are projected on the city hall.
