When we are in a hot country, it is hard to relate to Christmas the way we are used to, but we still had a great evening. We had barbecue on the terrace. On the menu we had meat, vegetables, sweet potatoes, oven baked potatoes and salad. We decorated with Christmas Crackers (with a crown, joke and a small gift - typical for Christmas in Australia).
In the evening we attended the Christmas service at Hillsong Church. There were also Maria and Josef on a real donkey and the shepherds with real lambs. The music was great and it was a great celebration of the birth of Jesus
Veldig hyggelig - Less is often more.
Afterwards it was time for presents. Everyone gave away and got one present. We had decided who was going to give a present to whom. It was a nice way to do it - Less is often more.
